Yamaha brings an own pocket recorder to this NAMM opening Thursday. The name of the device is Pocketrak 2G, and has a 2-gigabyte internal memory which is not expandable. Files are accessible via USB, and recorded in 16 bit, 44.1 kHz at maximum resolution, compressed or uncompressed (WAV, WMA, mp3 formats supported). Runs from AAA battery, with the supplied rechargeable battery an awesome 19 hour working period is achievable.
