Synthmaster's makers at KV331 Audio promotes their child as a semi-modular synth which can be true if we consider the extensive modulation possibilities of the instrument. It builds sounds from three additive oscillators, three multi-mode filters, four modulator units, two LFO-s with MIDI outputs (generate Control Change messages), two 32-step modulation patterns, a 16-step arpeggiator, plus the effects: EQ, delay, reverb, chorus/flanger, vocoder. It has 200 presets, and costs 99 USD: but there is an almost fully functional free demo version with a limited polyphony of 5, two instances work as plugin under a host, and the resolution of the audio input is only 10 bits. Try or buy.
